Lightspring is a resource centre committed to bringing the best out of the people who have become disgusted, busted or neglected. The vision was birthed out of a burden for “turning a bruised reed into the rod of strength and a smoking flax to a burning and shining light” Isaiah 42:3.

We strongly believe that trapped within everybody is a leader waiting for manifestation. We have made up our minds to be hands of comfort in the midst of discomfort and a new breed of “cruse” without greed in bringing people to the fullness of relevance.

Objectives

1. To raise people of character and creativity who will become leaders fostering communities and nations’ development.

2. To develop mindset of peaceful revolution in people thereby helping them to live above limitations and become agent of change.

3. To address and provide solutions to the problems facing young people through mentoring and coaching.

4. To empower, motivate, inspire and educate people in discovering, unlocking and maximizing their potentials in Godly way.

5. To raise a God loving and fearing community of young people

Strategies

1. Organising conferences, seminars and workshops on relevant and topical issues facing young people.

2. Networking with national and international organisations that provide aid and relief to children facing difficulties, and to less privileged people.

3. Establishing career-focused programmes aiming at dropout children and youths on the street and empowering them to contribute significantly to the society.
